SUNSET BEACHFLOWERS was a sketch, ended up in a fullcolor pic as well^^. I like the design of the art. And the colorchoice as well. It has a nice feeling to it I think. It has some small flaws, but I can live with that ^^;;. Hope you will like this one :)

AIKUZA 2004-09-30 14:56:31 I do not agree about the legs. I drew her first without clothes. Body design was good. And when you stand in that pose, your legs spread a bit automaticly. She has big hips, but I like a girl with hips ;). Anyway, thanks. But I am not gonna change it anymore, to much work to edit the background with it nicely -__-;;. ()

AIKUZA 2004-09-30 22:54:47 thanks all :). Yeah I noticed it as well that she leans to the left ^^;;. I think I scanned it a bit crooked. Cause on paper she looks very well balanced. But on my monitor I didn't even noticed -__-;;. What to do, what to do.... f*ck it. You know what I did wrong on the left leg? her hand was supposed to be on her butt, so I drew her butt, so it sticks out a bit. But than I think I made the leg turn wrong towards the knee. I don't get it either anymore. This is one difficult art. My only real excuse is; I HAD FEVER DURING DRAWING IT AND COLORING IT. for real. *__* ()

And the pic sends of a peaceful vibe. I do agree with Neonisis though about the scarf, I think it's too tight around her chin, if you get what I mean ^_^ ()

AIKUZA 2004-10-01 20:35:30 uhhh.. thanks all. I am not gonna explain what all happened to her chin and all. But I did copy and paste a piece of her scarf over her chin. I didn't knew it was that obvious ^^;;. I know the pic isn't perfect, and I am not gonna change it, cause it's done. I take my flaws and correct them in my future drawings, not this one. And thanks for liking that stupid joke DarkCloudRetired :). And no, I did not tease you with the name of the pic. I named it that way, so I could reconized the pic on my computer. And others, thanks for your comments! ()

Random art
finally colored it. w00t. Actually, I have another file where I started coloring it entirely my computer, but then I got shipped off to music camp and, where there's nothing to do in the afternoon, I one day got bored and decided to experiment with colored pencils. It turned out well - better than the digital version was coming, if that tells you anything ;^^ so I decided to use the colored pencil version instead. Of course, in the end, I ended up dramatically editing it digital-wise, but the fact that it started out as a colored pencil job made me happy xD The little figures at the top, by the way, are Yukiko, Evan and Cory, as you could guess. They were supposed to be representative of their interests - Yukiko loves making costumes and cosplaying, so she's admiring some a cloak or a dress that she made; Evan likes reading, so he's...reading, and Cory likes art, so he's painting ^^ I rather like the way the little figures turned out ^^ The background I went a little crazy with. I decided to try out a 'technique' that my art teacher in 7th grade opened my eyes to - she called it graffitti. Basically, I took words that the three characters could identify with and randomly spread them about the bg (Some of the words, incase you were curious, include eccentricity, creativity, anime, manga, dnd, goth, dork, and artist. There might be more, but those are the ones I can remember.) Anyway, I think this comment is getting long enough ._. I'll stop rambling now and let you guys comment ^.^v
