FrogSuits Fun! The common anime frogsuits. Been too busy to create something MWShoppish, but I got bored today. I just opened 3Dmax for a test, and all of a sudden, I made this dude. Took me 5 hours. Its not my best 3D, so dont get confused of how bad i am in 3Dmax :P, I just like the whole frogvibe. I'm not much of a 3Dguy, but sometimes I like to create my designs in 3D. The whole render was done in 3Dmax7 and the particle effects and text in PhotoShop CS. Yep, thats it. Hope you'll enjoy this happy pic ^^

AIKUZA 2005-12-15 13:18:01 Ahh, thanks for liking it all XP. the faces are indeed flat, but i did tat on purpose for the style i was aiming for. And it's no upperlip or teethgum ^^; Those are actually his teeth, but the ligtsource casted shadow on it, so it looks darker XD. Ragonorak looks cool, but I havent played it yet. I'm not the online gamer type. Next artshow is gonna be better! I think... ()

Kaizu 2005-12-16 12:17:30 Haha thats cool man, i dislike the faces for their 'fake'expression but the rest is awesome, even though the character is pretty simple i love the textures and the whole feeling this gives.. bah and what i just noticed.. the font im using in my portfolio is exactly the same as yours T.T of all those millions of fonts there are out there :/ ()

this actually wasn't meant to be colored by me XD my best friend asked me to line art something so he can color it, but I didn't have enough patience to wait for him so I colored it too XP he will still color it though.

~Dark Mika-chan~ This is probably one of my most obscure characters so I thought she deserves some more attention. Kuroneko Mika is Kaho-chan's older sister who likes nightlife and catfights (CatFu). Mika has a rather mysterious life where she disappears during the night and nobody knows where she goes or what she does. Ironically, Mika-chan was born with a natural dark tan that contrasts with her noctural preferences. Nonetheless many are fans of her exotic personality! ^_^ PS: Here again I am mixing regular coloring with a cel-shading technique to bring out some visual contrast. Thanks for coming by!
