Remember, a few months ago when I posted a bunch of pictures of eyes and was talking about painting a doll... Well, I painted the doll. I am half pleased, half displeased; for a first try, not bad, but over all I'm unhappy, and will eventually repeaint Ayel. I'm also a really bad photographer, ha. (Also, He has glossy lips, the camera didn't pick that up in this pic though....) When I do the next doll, He'll have alot more detail in the lips and eyes..... Comments?

Harm 2006-08-28 10:58:47 Not bad for a first time I think. A tip on the photography: Use a secondairy light source (lamp or flash) on the wall behind the doll. That way you will avoid the black backdrop shadow from your camera. ()

so i redid this picture, you can find the other version on this site as well. both have they're good and bad points, maybe i should redo it again and make a hybrid? we'll see.... done with ink and pencilcrayon. the idea behind this picture is that the girl is killing all the monsters under the bed.
