Well, I went GHETTO on this one: Crayola crayons. ^^... He's namless now, though he has a distinct personality, you can see it just by looking at him!.... Though he doesn't look like him as far as coloring, he reminds me alot of my character for

Well this is the first sketch for Alinam, a character in my new original fic, Tilve Saefad. I'm gonna CG it later. He's actually a beast-shifter (kinna like a shape-shifter only...animals >.>;) I'm rather how it turned out ^^ Cept the hand --; hate..hands...and the stick...pole...staff thing x.x; screwed that ><; shoulda made it longer...oh well. x_x dude i haven't drawn in a while @_@

This here is a character I created for my original story called "War of the Arts." The character's name is Kazuki Dekiru (Kazuki means "birth of a new generation," and Dekiru means "capable). He is a 14-year old practioner of Taijutsu and can manipulate fire, but he is somewhat unaware of his true ability. He is also strong-willed yet defensive of those who insult him because of how he is unable to understand martial arts the same way most of his other peers can. As a result, he is classified as a "disabled being."

When I drew Kazuki, I first used a H and 4B pencil to roughly draw and shade the character. Then I used 08, 05, 03, and 005 pigma micro pens to ink the outlines. Finally, I used tombow (I think that's what it's called) markers to color .

Feel free to leave any comments about the character.

Been a GITS fan since 1998, owning all kinda shit from GITS (manga, movies) and Batou is my favorite character (Pazu & Ishikawa too) The coloring is done by Aikuza, the art itself by me. The reason the 3 Tachikoma's are smaller, is because there in 'agent mode' - so no complaining about that - and furthermore, Fuchikoma's suck balls, i like Tachikoma's a lot more, so that's why there are Tachi's instead of Fuchi's (so also no complaining about time difference)

this took me a while with procrastination and all, 10-15 hours.<br>
this was actually an experiment for the most part. tried a different method of lineart, printing out the rough blue sketch and doing linework with a pencil right over the blue.<br>
and also it's a lighting frenzy! i really wanted to work on secondary lighting and such, and other coloring methods in corel painter. i think it came out pretty good! ^_^
